Lead Health & Safety Advisor

An excellent job has become available to join one of the worlds leading technology providers as a Lead Health & Safety Advisor, reporting into the Assurance Director.

In a brand new role, you will be tasked with supporting the companies ambition of delivering and building an even stronger safety culture throughout the organisation. The role will be acting a professional head of function with a network of health & safety advisor throughout the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership for health & safety across the group, supporting operational managers, senior managers and employees throughout the business. You will work very closely with a number of divisions in the business, from aerospace, to engineering, to security providing professional advice on all health & safety matters. You will play an active part in maintaining ISO 18001, with a focus on behavioural safety & culture change, with new initiatives & programmes being currently rolled out throughout the organisation.

To be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record in culture change & behavioural safety. You will be focussed on operational support, providing training, and influencing leaders within the business. You will have the NEBOSH Diploma as a minimum, you must demonstrate exceptional influencing, negotiation & communication skills to have the desired effect within the business.
