This unique and exciting opportunity has arisen working for a globally renowned manufacturing organisation who are recognised for their sustainability and environmental work. With a strong presence in the Yorkshire market, and following a number of acquisitions, the role of Group Financial Controller has arisen based out of their Hull office.

As the Group Financial Controller, your role is to implement, embed, integrate and align the processes to ensure a uniformed and seamless implementation process, you will also oversee the implementation of a new ERP system.

In addition, you will work with the wider team to ensure the business meets objectives to build a cohesive workforce team.

As Finance project lead for the integration of newly acquired businesses in the UK, this position will support the following:

All accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
General ledger functions and month-end/year end close process
Creation and standardisation of financial statements
Integration of business processes and accounting processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Peparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances
Preparation activities in readiness for the ERP implementation
Consolidation of group reports and adhoc requests as requiredTo be considered for this unique opportunity, you will offer the following skills and experience.

Qualified accountant with ACCA/ CIMA / ACA
Proven in implanting new ERP systems
Strong accounting background, ideally with project experience
Strategic thinking, ability to problem solve and implement changes
Available to start at short notice
