We are currently working with a well-established manufacturer of recovery systems. A company with a strong heritage and great reputation in the market. With a number of exclusive clients, it is a busy but relaxed environment, with a high staff retention rate. They are looking for a hands-on individual to take the mantle of Financial Controller. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Accounts Department, working alongside the management team.
Main Duties
* Monitoring and reviewing outstanding invoices with swift resolutions to queries.
* Producing the month end pack
* Processing BACS through internet banking
* Developing and improving the internal processes where required.
* Balance reconciliation
* Prepayment accruals
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Liaising with HMRC
* Budgeting
Key Skills & Requirements
* Previous experience in a financial position of a similar level
* Highly motivated
* Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
* Computer literate (SAGE, Excel, Word)
* Confident demeanour
Hours & Benefits
* 08.30 – 17.30 Monday – Friday
