Graduate Project Support – Bid / Tender Management

EDM is recruiting a Bid Support Graduate to support the sales team in writing new proposals to win exciting, new, national clients.

In this role, you would work alongside the sales team to research, prepare and proof complex bid proposals that outline why EDM is the right partner for the prospective clients. The average deal can be worth anything from £50,000 to over £1m and for this reason you must be highly intelligent, articulate with a creative writing style and have an impeccable eye for detail.

To be successful in this role, it is important you:

Are a fast learner, able to get up to speed on the ever developing EDM proposition.

Can assimilate vast quantities of information, pin pointing the most crucial factors.

Are flexible – when a bid is on, you might be required to work longer hours outside of the usual 9-5pm.

Are an excellent communicator – communicating our value is how we win bids.

Have a good eye for numbers – this can form a major part of a bid.

It would be highly desirable if you:

Had insight into a sector such as automotive, finance or healthcare, perhaps from personal interest or past work experience.

Have commercial acumen, developed from a previous corporate based role.

In this role you would work alongside other supporting members of the bid team, you would report to the Bid Team Leader and you would work closely with a range of people across the entire business.

During the programme, you will be put through various training modules, you will be given lots of on the job training and support and you will be enrolled into the EDM Academy development programme.
