Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per year
My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Environmental Management and Contaminated Land, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their Flood Risk Team based in Richmond Upon Thames.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or Environmental Management and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority reviewing or completing Flood Risk Maps, Surface Water Management Plans or Environmental Impact Assessments.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modelling Pro.
This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly and approachable team of Consultants and work on varied Flood Risk, Groundwater, Drainage, Hydraulic Modelling and Environmental Projects for Private Sector Clients, Private Developers and Local Authorities.
Applicants will be trained to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments and Flood Risk Reports.
-Flood Risk Maps using ArcGIS.
-Environmental Impact Assessments and Surface Water Management Plans.
-Drainage Strategy.
-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro.
