Our client is a well known family run house builder that has operated in Berkshire and the surrounding counties for over 60 years. Due to expansion, they are now looking to recruit an Assistant Buyer / Surveyor to join their highly regarded construction team, working alongside their Head of Construction.

The Person: Ideally degree educated looking for that starting role for your career in the construction
industry a minimum of NC qualified in Construction
*Highly Motivated with good attention to detail with the drive to learn and develop within the
construction industry.
*Must be able to communicate with clients at all levels in a professional manor
*A good knowledge of Microsoft Packages
*Reporting to the Head of Construction you will be dealing with Procurement and costing of
Materials, Cost Checking, surveying, taking off and scheduling materials along with managing
utility services companies.
* You will also be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
