My School’s Graduate Teaching Assistant post is perfect for someone that is looking for a year’s experience before starting their PGCE/School Direct Teacher Training.

The MFL department is 8 strong and they are looking to add to their numbers by introducing with a keen, articulate Graduate to help with their classroom delivery. The new Graduate Teaching Assistant must have a degree in French, Spanish or German and a good working knowledge of the UK curriculum.

The school population is very diverse and made up from a number of ethnic backgrounds. The right candidate will be able to build relationships with the students, often conducting one to one tuition with pupils of varied capabilities and helping them integrate into the classroom as a whole. This experience is second to none in building up the confidence and skills for an illustrious career in Teaching.

The school needs a go-getter of a Teaching Assistant and someone who can identify students who need more focus themselves and then action the tuition to an excellent standard.
This is a full time Teaching Assistant role which can lead onto the school’s own School Direct teacher training.
