Salary: £26,000 per year
Vision for Education, a leading Supply Teaching Agency, are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to work within SEN Schools in the Newcastle area. This position is ideal for any recent graduates who are thinking of pursuing a career within education or teaching, and who want to gain more experience within a school environment.
Our dedicated SEN Team are experienced in placing staff in the right schools, ensuring that the schools’ and staffs’ needs are best met. We offer the best rates of pay in the area to ensure we place the right people in the right schools. It is this philosophy that is helping us to rapidly build and maintain relationships between ourselves, our staff, and the schools we work with.
We are looking for people who can react and adapt quickly to challenging behaviours and situations in a professional manner. As well as units for behavioural issues, we also work in schools for children with varying degrees of Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) as well as students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) – experience in one or more of these areas is desirable.

Ideal candidates should be available for 5 days each week and should drive and should be available to start readily, once our registration process is complete. Applicants must hold a current enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to undergo one and have it registered on the Update Service.
