Our well established, manufacturing client based in Telford is looking for someone to join their team as a Bilingual Customer Service Advisor. Based within a very busy customer service department you will report into the Customer Relations Manager and you must be proficient in German language. Your duties will include:

• Handling all customer requirements from the initial order, from the quote up until order entry
• Ensuring all orders received are put onto the system and updating customers on their orders
• Issue order acknowledgements promptly with correct prices, part numbers and realistic delivery dates
• Raise and issue customer quotations
• Maintain and develop customer records/ profiles, including recording information supplied by internal customers
• Offering support for the sales team
• Preparing sales reports
• Send out sales reports to the sales team on a daily, weekly or monthly basis
• Reviewing customer order profiles and calling customers that have not ordered recently to review requirements
• Calling potential and existing customers to help increase sales
• Record all customer complaints according to agreed procedure
• Deal with general public enquires to promote our brand and products
• Working with the marketing team to advise customers on current promotions
• Help to extend the range of products purchased by our export customer’s existing customer
• From time to time, travel with European sales force and represent the company at sales exhibitions introducing our products to potential customers
• Develop and implement new systems procedures or working practices to improve customer service efficiency
• Record weekly KPI’s

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in Customer Service and fluency in German. You will ideally have previous experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing business and have the ability to work as part of a small friendly team.
