Generator Engineer

Salary: £15.6 – £18 per hour

Our Cleint is the UK’s largest and privately owned generator rental company having enjoyed over 25 years of supply in the industry. They have experienced rapid growth in recent years and is undergoing further expansion providing an excellent opportunity for a Generator Engine Rebuild Engineers to join team thier team.

Monday to Friday – 40 hours a week, + overtime rates

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Major repair of hire fleet and ancillaries;

• Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers equipment;

• Fault location, diagnosis and rectification to hire fleet and customers equipment;

• Installation and disconnection of equipment on site;

• Loading and unloading of vehicles;

• Depending on work load you may be required to work at or from our other depot locations.

• Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy;

• Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure;

• Promote teamwork and co-operation at all tim

• Treat all other employees and all our customers professionally and with respect

Qualifications/Skills required:

· Experience on generators/plant equipment/heavy engineering (or similar)

· EXPERIENCE OF ENGINE RE-BUILDS

· GCSE High school or equivalent.

· Any Plant/Mechanical engineering qualifications

Working Hours and Benefits

Monday to Friday 7-4 or 8-5 40 hrs a week 1 hour unpaid break

Salary is £15.6 – £18per hour Works out about £30 – £35k per hour
