Financial Accountant – Part-time

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established business based in Harrogate who operate across Europe. You will become part of a small, but supportive team, working on a part-time basis.

Job Description

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Involvement in cash flow forecasting
• Provide technical support and advice to the management team.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
• Ad hoc support to the CFO and wider business

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent analytical abilities to manage large amounts of data.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
