Senior Financial Accountant

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a market leading, fast paced business based in Colchester (although can be worked remotely) on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Key responsibilities:

– Prepare statutory accounts working files

– Prepare and review draft statutory accounts, both UK and overseas, to a high standard in line with local regulations

– Assist with providing information requested by Group Functions across the business

– Completion of the monthly financial accounting cycle for relevant companies which includes treasury entities and head office companies

– Liaise with and provide information requested by both internal and external auditors

– Prepare and review assigned Balance sheet reconciliations

– Assist with the preparation and review of daily and monthly treasury transactions

– Assist with monthly treasury compliance related work

Additional skills:

– You will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA preferred) with relevant post qualified experience

– Statutory accounts and financial accounting experience is essential

– Be able to manage competing priorities and achieving deadlines, whilst delivering a high standard of work and supporting the team as and when needed

– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a business partnering capacity
