Senior Financial Accountant

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

This is a senior position of a Senior Financial Accountant eporting into the Head of Finance of this fast paced, PE backed and high growth engeering and manufacturing business based in Doncaster.

This is a newly created role due to ongoing mergers, acquisitions and organic growth. We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant who will not only bring a wealth of technical knowledge but also have experience in cashflow forecasting and financial planning and analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

* Cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning for the organisation

* Management and Reporting around external funding ensuring strong controls are in place.

* Scenario planning and modelling, understanding the commercial drivers and indicators of the business

* Responsible for VAT and Tax compliance, submission and HMRC payments

* Build strong relationships with the auditors as well as strong relationships across finance and the wider group

We are looking for individuals who are:

* Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)

* Experience of operating in a group function or perhaps a manager/senior manager within practice

* Strong relationship builders both with internal and external stakeholders and partners.

* UK GAAP and IFRS conversion experience would be beneficial
