Finance Manager

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

NXTGEN are currently working alongside a modern and forward thinking client who are a leading brand within the gaming industry, to recruit a Finance Manager. My client has been well recognised as a chart-topping mobile games company and prides themselves on being a collaborative and close knit team.
As Finance manager you will be stepping in to a newly created position and will be tasked with supporting the Finance Director in creating a best in class finance function. You will play a pivotal part in developing current processes and improving the foundations to create continued growth for the business and its employees. You will be a key player in decision making and will work closely with the finance director and other senior management.

The main duties will include:

* Providing support with various strategic initiatives and company decisions, including fundraising, corporate structuring and M&A.
* The production of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of both financial and operational performance
* You will conduct and manage the day to day finance operations and will be responsible for tasks such as cash flow, payments, payroll and profit and loss.
* To maintain high standards of compliance and ensuring that legislation is compliant with the rules around tax, VAT and transfer pricing.

You will ideally be a recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) preferably with experience gained in a top 20 accountancy firm (Big 4 highly desirable). Exposure to fundraising, investment or M&A is highly desirable but not essential. You will be able to demonstrate effective communication across all levels of the business and are able to use your initiative to design and implement new process.
