Finance Business Partner

Salary: £144 – £180 per day

Anderson Knight is delighted to be working with a very successful client based in Glasgow to recruit a Finance Business Partner. The role sits within the project division and this division has recently been assigned a large amount of funding in order to complete several major capital projects across the organisation in relation to infrastructure.

To be considered for the role you must possess strong stakeholder management skills and have relevant project accounting experience. You will work closely with a number of non-finance stakeholders including project managers and construction workers.

The main responsibilities the Finance Business Partner positions entails are:

* Build and maintain relationships with several key stakeholders across the organisation

* Provide expert financial advice, guidance and challenge to project managers

* Provide timely management information for both strategic and operational purposes, including strategic financial planning

* Work with the project division to manage the financial management of the major capital projects

* Lead regular project forecast activity and produce robust project financial reports

* Attend project boards as required, preparing detailed business cases and other analyses for senior management

In order to be considered for the role you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

* An outgoing personality

* A driven/motivated individual
