Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year
Our client, based in the East Midlands, is a successful and growing business who supply laboratory equipment and supplies to a wide range of industries and education facilities worldwide. They are seeking an experienced field based sales professional with a sciences background to cover their successful Manchester and North West areas. The role is home based and the ideal candidate will be located in or close to the Manchester area.
The role:
• Dealing with a range of industries including chemical, pharmaceutical, food, medical as well as higher education establishments
• Drive growth in target areas of both new and existing business
• Manage own diary and time effectively
• Make own appointments and manage leads effectively
• Attend marketing events
Experience:
• Applicants must have a proven track record in field sales
• A background in laboratory supplies or clinical supplies is required
• Educational background in the sciences preferred
• Experience of both account management and winning new business
• Managing own diary and making own appointments
Our client is based in Nottingham although this role is working from home. The successful candidate will be highly competitive, an excellent communicator and confident presenter, analytical, forward thinking, commercially astute and dynamic.

Our client offers a good package which includes a basic salary of £30,000 – £42,000OTE £25k, company car or car allowance, contributory pension, healthcare, mobile and laptop.
