Facilities Management Implementation Programme Management Officer – Fixed Term – 12 months – Remote work, UK – £70-£85k plus benefits
A leading FM Service provider is urgently seeking and experienced PMO to join them on a global Technology client account working from the comfort of your own home. You must have a track record in implementing and driving a programme of works across a Global RE and IFM account. This is about implementing a new strategy relating to workplace experience and standardising operational procedures etc.
Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the planning, monitoring and delivery of all workstreams within the Statement Of Work (SOWv5) new global contract of services Implementation Project to agreed quality and scheduled timeframes and allocated budgets.
Provide project leadership and direction to the Account, Program Support, Area Support and Site Services teams working on the account across EMEA.
Alignment to the Change Council Implementation requirements.
Alignment to existing Project Management methods and processes where appropriate and development of new if required to suit needs of Implementation Project to be applied as a standard across the account.
Responsible for ensuring that correct Project Management Governance reporting and controls are being adopted across the account.
Leading the deployment of Implementation related training as determined on the account.
Develop, implement and manage any other activities as agreed with the Account Director.

Context and main issues
Programme and Project Leadership – Provide confident, visible leadership, ensuring standards are set and delivered, talent and resources are utilised optimally, client relationships are nurtured and developed and all opportunities for best practice and capability growth are leveraged. Ensure successful implementation of the PMO’s strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables. Providing tangible value creation through Project Management domain expertise to our employees (simplifying processes and procedures) and to our clients and customers (enhancing their Quality of Life experience).
Leadership and People Management – Coaching/training, managing, engaging and developing a highly performing and diverse Implementation team, with right skills and capabilities, and to ensure that the skills are developed in line with the needs of the account, client and Global Strategic Accounts (GSA).
Delivering on Financial and Operational Targets – Ensuring that committed targets are met or exceeded to enhance client satisfaction and performance. Provide the means to respond rapidly to any threats to these. Measures include e.g. outcome and benefits of the Implementation Project, Account Roadmap, contract KPI’s and growth targets.
Client Relationship Management – Engaging with the key clients on a routine basis and lead by example in providing excellence in programme, project and relationship management. Ensuring that directional alignment exists across account at all times.
Delivery of Excellence in Risk, Compliance and Quality Management – Ensuring that protocols, processes and capabilities are in place to deliver all technical/regulatory requirements for the safe and commercial management of the contract.
Effective Management of Internal Resources – Maintain a strong working relationship with the Global Project Management COE to ensure alignment with Project Management processes, methods, tools, training and implement any changes. Partnering effectively with the countries, support functions/service operations and providing clear business briefs on services and support required. Establish networks (industry inclusive) to ensure continuous improvement and provide insight through effective use of market data and operational delivery techniques.
Management Contribution to Corporate Services regionally and globally – Taking a collective leadership accountability to identify synergies, cross-sales and other opportunities.
Main assignments
Management of SOWv5 Implementation
Program manage the implementation process and its results.
Set cadence, monitor and report progress against each line of the Landing plan/timetable.
Drive standard ways of working across the account, developing consistent and robust outputs.
Lead the client through transition activities.
Manage transition milestones, gates and drive internal team meetings and actions.
Highlight the risks and dependencies related to the process, liaise with the Implementation team to mitigate them.
Coordinate account wider teams where necessary to ensure consistency in the approach.
Set up Implementation Governance.
Tracking Implementation KPIs.
Operationalize Reporting Requirements.
Schedule and lead program meetings.
Manage governance with IFM Platform.
Ensure operational handover of all deliverables.
Ensure the Account values and standards are adhered to at all times.
Leadership and People Management
Establish and effectively lead a highly capable Implementation team who will deliver against the project objectives.
Define and clearly communicate roles and responsibilities to achieve desired outcomes.
Inspire, guide, support and motivate the team, provide direction and manage in alignment with HR policy and guidelines.
Create a culture of collaboration, positive learning and teamwork. Create and promote a ‘one-team’ culture of excellence amongst the Implementation team.
Identify the team’s strengths and improvement areas, leading them to excellence through coaching, feedback and recognition. Provide regular constructive feedback to build on strengths and achieve results.
Address and resolve team and individual performance issues, including unsatisfactory performance in a timely and effective way.
Ensure that employee performance is managed through the performance management processes and talent development and succession planning activities take place.

Client Relationship Management
Grow strong relationships with clients to ensure a profitable long-term partnership.

Manage relationships and key interfaces with the client and the clients’ key decision makers.

Own the project risks and risk register and monitor risks through the Implementation team.

Person Specification
Essential
Client business language is English – therefore must have excellent oral and written English.
Facilities, Engineering, Technical, Business or other relevant degree/qualifications.
Experienced Project Management practitioner across multiple market segments.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant roles.
Strong sales, tender/quote/bid preparation and submission knowledge.
Strong work ethics and an understanding of corporate requirements and processes.
High level of business case presentation and communication skills with the ability to professionally negotiate and achieve positive client relationship outcomes.
Proven experience in working across international geographical boundaries.
Ability to clearly communicate, motivate and lead teams from a variety of backgrounds, countries and cultures.
Proven track record of initiating and managing demanding business change programmes using leading methodologies and processes.
Familiarity with project/change management concepts and methodologies, e.g. LEAN (or equivalent), tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
Understanding of change management and its impact on people and processes.
Experience of managing stakeholder relationships within complex projects with the ability to manage and resolve conflict, meeting challenging deadlines and delivering under pressure.
Proven ability to create virtual teams of high-performing, highly engaged employees.

Regular travel and overnight stays will be required.
