Fabricator Welder

Salary: £21.6 – £24 per hour

As a skilled and competent Fabricator Welder you will be joining a busy and productive team to fabricate components that are used in the manufacture and assembly of market leading products.

If you can bring excellent Fabrication and Welding skills to this great team, there will be opportunities to develop within the business with further capital investment, as they continue to increase production rates, expand the product range, and all as their market share increases.

Fabricator Welder skills and qualities:

• MIG welding experience on materials from 3 – 20 mm thickness is essential
• Fabrication / Engineering Apprenticeship qualified with TIG and other welding processes highly desirable
• Accurately follow fabrication drawings complying to weld symbols and standards as required
• Ability to set and programme a press brake would be advantageous
• Be able to use hand tools, cutting, drilling, powered rollers and hand grinding machinery
• Ensure Health and Safety of yourself and colleagues whilst meeting production deadlines
• Knowledge of systems and processes in an engineering manufacturing environment
• Demonstrate a great work ethic, personable communication skills and attention to detail
• Contribute to continuous improvement objectives with ideas to enhance the team success
• Valid Full UK driving licence
