Fabricator / Welder

Salary: £26,000 per year

Jark Bradford Ltd Technical & Engineering Division are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent position for a Fabricator Welder based in Cleckheaton BD19 to work on the day shift.

Role Responsibilities

• Must be able to MIG & TIG weld
• Have experience in working with Mild steel & aluminium
• Read technical drawings and sketches in order to build jobs to specification
• To fabricate from technical drawings using MIG and TIG welding using various methods of assembly.
• Assess equipment, structures, materials, and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods
• Monitor equipment for appropriate usage and temperature
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of universal standards
• Able to continuously asses the customer’s order and be able to manufacture in the fastest and safest way.
• Monitor work environment for hazards and maintains healthy ventilation levels to avoid particle or gas inhalation
• Follow safety protocol, including wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes

This is permanent post once the right applicant has worked for 12 weeks through us the agency at Jark Bradford

To work Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.15pm Friday 7.30am to 12.45pm to work 38.25 hours per week

The Salary: is £26,000 PAYE In addition a production bonus is available, holidays 20 days plus 8 bank holidays

Parking is available and the company is conveniently situated near the train station
