Salary: £60,000 – £78,000 per year

Estimator | £50,000 – £65,000 | Fit Out & Interiors | London | Permanent

We are looking for a mid-weight Estimator to join this medium sized, family run design and build company in the heart of London.

The Estimator will be reporting into the Head of Pre-Contracts, a solid manager who we placed with the business around 2017-2018.

This role will suit a highly independent and self-motivated Estimator who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team on exciting fit out projects across various sectors.

Estimator – key responsibilities and duties:

* Assist the business in pitching for more work and ultimately winning new business

* Estimating projects – CAT A and CAT B fit outs, refurbishments and small works

* Cost and Design Coordination

* Risk identification and mitigation

* Handover to construction director and delivery team

* Producing cost proposals

* Conduct early site visits to establish requirements and associated logistics

* Manage deadlines for tender returns

Estimator – qualifications and experience:

* Comprehensive experience in an Estimating capacity

* Strong construction background with an awareness of the D&B sales process

* Technical understanding of multiple trades

* Selfmotivated, enthusiastic and ambitious

* Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a close team

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
