Next Generation
Salary: £48,000 per year
Due to continued growth Next Generation are currently recruiting for an Estimator for a well-established manufacturing business who have ambitious plans to increase their current market share. As the Estimator you will be responsible for working closely with Technical and Production teams to challenge current business operations with the view of improving accuracy and efficiency of quotations and process routes.
Working hours of the Estimator:
Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
What’s on offer for the Estimator?
- Competitive package up to £48,000p.a. (DOE)
Duties of the Estimator:
- Working closely with cross functional departments to ensure the most effective route of manufacture.
- Taking ownership of the internal IT systems with the view of standardising the approach of estimating incoming jobs.
- Develop and manage a solution led approach which facilitates account profitability
- Reporting to the board of directors on Sales pipeline, quotations and future tenders
- Key Account Management in order to maximise profitability
- Assisting in identifying emerging customers, sector trends and market intelligence to maximise sales pipeline
The successful candidate for the Estimators position will have the following experience:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience working within a manufacturing or machining environment (Essential)
- Proven experience managing client expectations (Essential)
- Ability to estimate/quote efficiently (Essential)
- Ability to learn and build relationships (Essential)
- Managing high level commercial relationships (Essential)
