Our client is a charitable housing association providing homes, care and support across Yorkshire. Their core purpose is to provide good quality affordable homes to rent.
They now have an opportunity for an Estates Services Team Leader to provide clear direction, effective leadership and support to staff and ensure the delivery of a customer focussed caretaking service to relevant schemes and estates. This will include the maintenance of areas, carrying out cleaning and minor repair works, whilst following set quality standards and resident satisfaction at all times.
Our client is looking for people who are committed to company values and can demonstrate this by:
Reliable – You will have previous caretaking experience, using cleaning equipment, with Joinery, plumbing and/or DIY skills.
Enthusiastic – You will have the ability to lead and organise workloads of a small team to meet quality standards. You will also have a flexible approach to work, able to change from one task to another at short notice.
Respectful – You will have experience of dealing with a range of people including young adults, the public and staff and have the ability to deal with potentially difficult situations, with a tactful and diplomatic approach.
