What will the role involve?

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to establish their career within an in-house recruitment setting. Working as part of our apprenticeship sales team, you’ll provide support and assistance to colleagues managing the recruitment of apprentices into our client’s businesses. Through new business development activity, the role is responsible for generating apprenticeship vacancies and then working with 16 to 23 age group applicants in order to place them into those vacancies. This will involve matching applicants to apprenticeship vacancies and making sure that they are given all the help and information they need to apply for the roles. You’ll be helping with making interview arrangements, getting vacancy details to candidates, and liaising with employers and other third parties.

Ideally you will already have some recruitment or recruitment sales experience, either agency or in-house or come from a Business to Business Sales background. You should have a passion for what you do and a knowledge of what is required as part of a basic recruitment process. An understanding of apprenticeships or wider work based learning is desired but not essential. You should be based within an easy commute of the Devon/Cornwall area. You’ll need to be able to work in a target driven environment, have great communication and customer service skills, and be really well organised. It is essential that you have good IT skills with an intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel.
