Employer Engagement / Business Development Consultant

Do you have Recruitment, Sales and/or Marketing experience? We are currently looking for experienced Sales / Business Development professionals in Plymouth.

Salary: £26,000 per year+ Performance Related Bonus and Excellent Company Benefits including Generous Holiday Entitlement, Health Care, Mileage and Equipment to perform the role.

Our client is a successful National Training Organisation, who delivers work based training programmes to individuals across the UK. Due to company growth they are now looking to appoint an Employer Engagement / Business Development Consultant in Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities:

– Engage and develop relationships with employers to generate a pipeline of employed status learners who are eligible and keen to undertake company training programmes (Apprenticeships), as well as sourcing Apprentice vacancies
– Cold calling businesses to promote our clients offering and gain appointments with decision makers to discuss their training and recruitment needs
– Maximise all sales opportunities and achieve targets for learner starts
– Promote / cross sell further training opportunities relevant to the sector
– Ensure employer environments comply with Health and Safety requirements

Essential Criteria:

– Must hold relevant experience of B2B sales
– Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative
– Proven experience of working towards targets
– Excellent communication and time management skills
– Driver / car owner and flexible with travel

Our client is looking for a team player, with well developed interpersonal and communication skills, a natural sales professional with fire in their belly!
