Electrical Design Engineer

Following the award of a major contract my client is looking for motivated and dynamic professionals to join the one of their companies onsite design teams. The Electrical Design Engineer will report to the local Design Manager and be responsible for the production of design specifications, which includes a requirement to:

· Ensure appropriate and required Design Authority, LRS and MCA approvals for design solutions.
· Conduct ship surveys as required to aid accurate design specifications
· Maintain a progress log of allocated design work and Administrate design
documentation for allocated tasking
· Offer Technical advice and support, implementation/installation
· Produce accurate and comprehensive A&A specifications
· Be computer literate, including MS Office suite and AutoCAD LT
· Previous experience of working in MoD/RFA/RN environment would be beneficial

Ideal candidates will be suitably qualified and experienced in (marine) electrical installations and be familiar with ship`s systems.
