We currently have unique opportunities to join the UK’s leader in the parcel delivery industry as their next generation of First Line Managers. Due to their extensive strategic growth, they have positions across their Distribution Centres nationwide, and are seeking resilient, dynamic and enthusiastic candidates who demonstrate leadership qualities to be able to take their business forward.

Salary – £28,800

Starting your career on a 12 month development programme, you will forge your management skills within this fast-paced delivery environment in all positions that report in to a First Line Manager, which will allow you to understand all issues that could potentially arise, and ultimately take on a First Line Manager position within the business. You will gain experience in the following areas:

– Various delivery/warehouse-based roles across a number of shift patterns
– Attending learning and development courses
– On-the-job learning and training
– Collection and Delivery driving

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent (HND/HNC), and will also:
– Have gained some commercial experience, ideally within a warehouse/transport/logistics environment.
– Be resilient and enthusiastic.
– Demonstrate the hiring company’s ‘DNA’ (core values).
– Be flexible to accommodate the high-volume nature of the role.
– Hold a full driving license.
You’ll then have the opportunity to join their Management Development Programme for two years with a view to further progressing your career.
