Salary: £38,255 – £42,494 per year
My client in Cheshire are currently on the hunt for a Programme Leader in Construction to join their ranks!
As well as being based in an amazing part of the country, you will be joining an equally as amazing team of staff who are ready and willing to support you.
Here’s what we’re looking for
* Minimum L3 qualification in a trade area (Brickwork/Joinery or Plastering) or HNC/HND
* Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
* Recognised Teaching Qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
* Knowledge of delivering, designing, and assessing educational programmes for Further Education students across a range of levels including Built Environment in Construction
* Prior Experience of City and Guilds Construction Qualifications – highly desirable
* Knowledge of Pearson Built Environment or T Levels
* Digital skills related to the industry (CAD) and a good knowledge of MS office Applications and other educational learning systems such as ProMonitor
* A period of relevant and successful time within a relevant industry sector is essential, experience of a management role is desirable
* Demonstrable evidence of delivering inspirational educational activity that is appropriate to the learner and of the highest quality standards
* Ability to motivate students to achieve their maximum potential
* Ability to build relationships within the industry to forward our reputation and business opportunities
* Ability to communicate effectively and negotiate and influence with individuals at all levels including students, parents, colleagues, and the wider industry
* Demonstrable ability to act as a role model to others and provide effective line management which engages staff and drives high team performance
* Demonstrable evidence of Continuous Professional Development
* Self-motivated with ability to motivate others and enthuse them to succeed
* Flexible and can respond quickly to the needs of the department
* Skills to develop and effectively utilise learning resources and opportunities which maximise learner experience
* Strong organisational skills
* Demonstrable ability to identify & drive efficiencies and ensure value for money from course delivery
