Homebased ideally North West/Yorkshire but must be able to travel

Salary Band: £60,000 – £72,000Hours: Full Time

The Director of Business Growth will be responsible for developing, leading and implementing our growing Training providers business growth strategy to enable the company to grow, thrive and maintain a healthy financial position within the marketplace. This will be achieved by ensuring that business growth activities are aligned to corporate and operational objectives, by identifying suitable opportunities and developing strong proposals to ensure new business and organic growth in line with the company strategy and growth aspirations.

You will be expected to understand and execute expansion strategy tactics and meet growth and financial targets as part of the wider business growth strategy. You will have a key role in supporting the strategic and reputational positioning of the company and increasing market share and reputation as a provider who delivers performance through a quality and compliant approach s part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

Identifying new strategic business opportunities within the skills, employability, justice markets, aligned with the business growth strategy working closely with the MD through strategy and growth sessions.
Create a business growth strategy in line with the wider business objectives. Develop strong networks and relationships with existing and new funding bodies, prime providers and other commissioners. Building on relationships with existing provision and identify areas for potential organic growth working closely with the operational delivery team to secure further business.
Develop and supporting the implementation of business development/growth activities through the development of an internal business growth team dedicated to business growth activities as the business expands. Secure new contracts in the skills, employability & justice markets. Have an exceptional knowledge of the sectors services whilst maintaining knowledge of current and future potential market characteristics and conditions and future growth opportunities.
Develop and create successful winning tender submissions and financial modelling through a robust bid management process. Preparing written responses to EOI’s/ITT’s through to full application processes, preparing pitch presentations and delivering pitch presentations as required. Preparing a monthly Senior Management pipeline report detailing new business opportunities, repeat business and opportunities to promote services in new markets. Hold a weekly strategy and growth session to showcase all business growth activities being reviewed for bid/no bid decisions.
