Salary: £36,000 – £54,000 per year
Verrus are working with a leading Building Automation specialist to recruit a proven BMS Design Engineer to join them in their London office.
The Position:
The appointed Design Engineer will assume responsibility for:
* Creating building control system designs and specifications for tender and construction
* Reviewing proposals and ensuring that electrical designs are technically sound
* Verifying the designs of less experienced team members, providing feedback as required
* Focusing on projects in a range of sectors but with an emphasis on prestige premises (residential, hospitality etc)
You Will Need:
* A minimum degree or HND qualification in a relevant (ideally electrical) engineering discipline
* Mechanical and electrical knowledge of HVAC systems, lighting, switchgear and thermodynamics
* A minimum of three years’ experience in the design of building management systems
* Effective time management to work effectively on various projects at the same, both independently and in a team
* A thorough understanding of IP networking and control software
