Deputy Service Manager

My client is a national provider of care and support services to adults and children with complex and challenging needs. I am seeking a motivated individual to join their Liverpool-based team as a Deputy Service Manager. Your role will be to work closely with the management team in the monitoring and development of a number of adults’ services across Merseyside.

This is a full time position, though you will spend part of your time on shift, and part time field-based or at Head Office. You will guide and support staff teams, will have responsibility for staffing and rotas, will conduct audits, will have involvement in training and development, and will chair service users’ forums.

You will have a proven background within a senior care role, will hold NVQ Level 4 (or will be willing to work this qualification in-post), and will also possess a full driving licence. It would be beneficial if you also hold NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.

The salary is £26,000 per year, and other benefits include a pension, paid leave, free parking on-site and opportunities for progression.
