We have an exciting apprentice opportunity for candidates who are looking to build on their education and further develop their skills in a professional working environment. Our client a leading Utilities company, based in Great Sankey Warrington, is looking to recruit 3 Customer Service Apprentices to start in September
Working within a high paced Contact Centre providing excellent service to our customers: You will gain an overview of the various departments within our Domestic Retail centres including Metering and Connections, Customer Experience, Integrated Control Centre and Collections. You must take ownership of a range of enquiries via different contact channels such as phone, letter, email and web chat. Customers’ requirements must be dealt with quickly, efficiently and through to resolution ensuring that they are completely satisfied with how we have dealt with their query. At all times you will be expected to look for opportunities to improve our Customers Experience of the service provided by the company.
Job Accountabilities
·Accurately record and process a variety of customer enquiries.
·Diagnose customer issues and investigate and interpret data held on a number of different systems
·Manage customer expectations and set and agree timescales for actions to be performed.
·Promote products in line with strategic initiatives (i.e. My Account and Direct Debit).
·Meet with customers, third parties and suppliers as required.
·Review own performance statistics and take responsibility for personal development
·Work with the project teams to implement changes within the business
·Present back findings of individual projects to Senior Management
·Manage own workload in order to successfully complete all compulsory NVQ Units
·Mentor and support new starters working through induction plans and training programmes
Knowledge and Skills
·Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, grades A-C which must include Maths, English and a Science or Technology subject
·Good communication skills
·Planning and organisational skills
·Self-motivated to deliver key milestones whilst undertaking new tasks and learning new
This is a full time role working 37 hours per week. Shifts may vary between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays (1 in 3) between 8am and 5pm.
