Conventional Turner / Machinist

Pure Staff are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client who manufacture specialist bearings based in Perry Barr. Due to recent heavy work demands we are currently seeking x1 experienced/ timeserved Conventional Turner/Machinist.

Role:

* Must be fully conversant using Conventional machines * Must have excellent finishing skills as part of the role you will operating grinding machines, milling machines and tapping

* Knowledge of CNC machines is preferred (but not essential)

* Old school type manufacturing process

* Must be able to read technical drawings * Must be apprentice trained

* Knowledge of specialist bearings desirable

* Must be fully conversant with H&S Procedures

* Able to work under minimum supervision

* Dirty work environment

Hours:

Mon – Thursday; 7.00 – 16.00 or 7.30 -16.30 (30 mins Unpaid Dinner)

Friday; 7.00 – 12.00 or 7.30 – 12.30

Duration:
This is a temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate after a 3 month trial period

Salary:
Dependant on experience will pay up to £26,000 per year and will be reviewed again at 3 month period.
