Sewing Machinist

Our Keighley based client who have been established since 1982 are currently recruiting for Sewing Machinist to join them on a temporary – permanent basis. The main purpose of the role will be to manufacture products to client specifications working from job sheets and verbal instructions. You will be sewing a variety of soft furnishings. The main duties for the role will include preparing and gather the materials to be sewn, set up machines for the tasks including needle changes and threading up of the machines, sewing the products as per instructions and quality checking the finished products. The ideal candidate will have previous sewing experience using industrial sewing machines, this position is offered working two shifts either static days Mon- Thu 7am-4pm & Fri 7am- 1pm or static double day 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm. The annual salary of pay will be £26,000per year with incentives after a qualifying period.
