Brief Outline:
An opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager role within an established business to help drive the Solar PV division. This would suit a highly adaptable, energetic and enthusiastic person who would relish the opportunity to help grow the division
About the Client:
Our Client is a leading sub-contractor who offers a complete turnkey service of design, installation and project management. They have an experience and detailed market knowledge of customer needs, supplier skills, legislative and environmental drivers and the emergence of new technologies have all contributed to their current market standing. They have an established solar PV division that they are now looking to expand
About the Role:
* Need to work intuitively on their own covering all aspects of management of project operations, covering the whole of the UK
* The ideal candidate will be electrically qualified and have experience of Roof top solar PV and other forms of renewable energy generation
* The role will include the management of site installation teams, arranging and managing the suitable access and site logistics
* Need to have various experience of working with and co-ordinating works with Main and other Sub Contractors on site
* Able to fully lead the delivery of projects from handover from Pre-Construction Negotiation through to final handover, ensure the project is on time, on budget and to the excellent quality standards expected
* The role within the business that will need to adapt as the business continues to grow, leading to excellent career opportunities
* The manager will also be responsible for the establishment and management of the ongoing monitoring and maintenance contract that will follow the completion of every project
About the Candidate:
* To have a strong background in the Solar PV sector
* Excellent man management skills
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills
* Excellent communicator able to provide clear and concise instruction to the team
* Strong negotiating skills
* Leads with passion and enthusiasm to succeed which motivates and encourages the team
* Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other departments
