Overview of the Role

This role will be responsible for the development of all creative content across all platforms, including website, email, social media channels and also offline content to drive brand awareness and broaden our audience.

Responsibilities

The role will entail:

• Managing and developing agreed Tone of Voice across all creative copy for all customer and prospect communications
• Managing and maintaining, working with the Marketing Manager, brand copy style for three brand websites
• Developing product knowledge to be able to write regular weekly blogs on insurance, financial, government related topics as well as helpful hints for the contractor market and freelancers across multiple industry sectors
• Writing marketing messages to influence prospects and renewing customers at different stages of their buying journey – online or offline
• Planning, curating and overseeing development of surveys/online newsletters/brochure copy
• Supporting marketing team and wider business in creative writing (case studies, web pages, blogs, emails, video storyboards, presentations)

Skills and expertise

• Demonstrable career history showing content writing experience
• Good understanding of how to write SEO rich content is essential
• Insurance or Financial Industry experience would be advantageous, as would web page copy writing experience
• within an SEO team or digital agency advantageous
• Ability to translate technical information into easy to digest copy essential
• Understanding of the concept of the buyer’s journey, persona’s, sales funnel
• Good proof-reading skills to assess and QA external blog writing by freelancers
• Good time management to plan, brief, assign, QA and deliver new blogs on a weekly basis using external writers
• Able to write from an internal brief and maintain agreed creative styles
