My client is a top tier main contractor operating in Major Projects across the Education, Health, Commercial and Residential sectors, with key offices throughout the UK, looking to recruit a site based Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to work on Major Projects in Central London and the surrounding area

My client delivers projects to the Education, Health, Commercial & Residential sectors across a diverse range of projects, ranging from high volume roll out to stand alone high value projects.

Description
The Commercial Manager will oversee all commercial aspects of the project. They will work closely with the Commercial Team and Project Management for the Major Works projects working closely to deliver a pipeline of capital projects in collaboration with the wider business. The individual will be responsible for managing a commercial team and will personally be capable of operating in a customer facing role. The role will require experience of new project development including contractual negotiations with clients, through to operational delivery of projects, defects management and management of any disputes.

Profile
The successful candidate will ideally have a BSc (Hons) Degree in either Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and have experience as the commercial lead, leading projects from pre-contract through construction and delivery to client handover and defects management. Ideally, they will also have significant experience in the specific requirements and delivery of major projects £10+ million.
This role is based on major projects in Central London. The office is located in North West London 20 minutes by train to Central London.
