Salary: £96,000 – £108,000 per year
Who you’ll be working for:
A construction organisation with a renowned for delivering quality commercial, housing, retail, and accommodation projects with an unenviable reputation in the region.
The people you’ll be working with:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll manage a Commercial team of 12 direct reports based in the Mansfield region. You will support the team and deliver projects to the value of £5-10m.
What you’ll be asked to achieve:
To manage and control project commercials in relation to construction projects for multiple clients. You will ensure projects are delivered to budget while managing your team.
In order to fulfil this you will be required to:
* Manage & develop your team comprising of 12 QS’s at various levels
* Liaise with client commercial departments
* Ensure all appropriate commercial records are maintained
* Prepare project cost, value reports, budgets and forecasts
* Review sub-contractor performance
* Drive productivity and efficiency improvements
* Liaise with other Commercial Managers in the business to ensure a consistent approach across the business.
This role would suit someone with:
* A degree or professionally qualified and accredited QS / Commercial Manager
* Experience in general construction
* Self-motivation, ambition and a dynamic personality
* Excellent attention to detail
