Reporting to Third Party Team Leader
Salary: £26,000 – £27,600per year

A professional, well structured, friendly insurance firm based in modern, comfortable offices in an easily accessible location in Sevenoaks. Our client is currently seeking Claims Negotiators to work within their third part claims team. You will be working within a team environment handling a portfolio of claims involving Personal Injury, Credit Hire, Liability Disputes, Accidental Damage and Recovery to achieve settlement at the optimum level.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform at a consistently high settlement rate
• Minimise reopened claims
• Achieve a minimum claims leakage performance
• Achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction
• Produce a consistently high throughput of work
• Maintain effective diary entries for all claims
• Maintain accurate reserves for all cases and throughout the claims life
• Capable of controlling a portfolio and able to input ideas to contribute towards the improvement of the team.

Skills and Experience:
• A proven team player
• Technically sound judgement
• Effective portfolio management
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Able to work under a minimum of supervision
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years experience in the Motor Insurance Claims Environment.
