£20-£24k plus Car Allowance

Our client has invested in building an Insurance Claims Liaison Service which sets them apart from other brokers. The service is centred around the principles of risk management to work with clients to identify ways to reduce both accident frequency and the average cost of claims. This involves understanding your client’s business and agreeing practical measures to assist. You will be given your own portfolio of clients and will prepare reports, analyse trends.

Key Responsibilities
• Making appointments to meet with your clients on site.
• To liaise and advise customers on all claims related actions and procedures
• You will work closely with the Account Handlers and Claims Advisors to account manage claims for portfolio of large customers.
• Providing reports to underwriters and account handlers to enable them to quote or secure quotations
• Troubleshooting and handling claims with large losses
• Visiting customers across UK for face to face meetings. During which you will discuss their claims, spot trends
• Liaise with insurers and clients
• Providing risk analysis advise and suggestions to help the client manage their claims experience.
• To accurately record all meetings and conversations with customers and insurers
• Providing support and point of contact to junior colleagues

Key requirements
• You will have an insurance background
• Claims knowledge is advantageous
• You must demonstrate ability to manage customers and account handle
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Must be self-starter and take responsibility of diary management
• Good judgemental skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with clients
• Knowledge of FSA regulations relating to commercial customers
• Good Excel skills required

This role will be based in the field and within the office. There maybe some extensive travel across the UK, so flexibility to have early/late starts and finish is necessary.
