My client who are an industry leader are in need of an Change Portfolio Office lead to ensure that governance, controls and resources are in place to so that projects within the Change Portfolio deliver to defined quality, time and cost constraints and ultimately achieve full realisation of benefits defined in the Business Case.

The PMO / Change Portfolio Office has recently been established and at its early stages of maturity and the role will focus on embedding common methodologies, processes and tools to enable effective delivery of multiple projects all of which are different size, and varying levels of complexity. Leading by example, the Change Portfolio Office Lead will motivate and encourage a team of project managers and support staff to deliver to consistently high standards and champion best practise.

The successful candidate must have 8-10 years experience of setting up and running PMO / Change Portfolio Offices from the ground up with extensive knowledge of project / programme management ideally with Prince 2. The role will include extensive knowledge of designing, implementing and embedding areas such as governance, planning, risk, issue, resource management, change management, budget control etc throughout the business who have are not used to working within such governance.
