We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity based in our Clients Newark office where you’ll join their Lettings Team in the role of Portfolio Manager.

THE ROLE

As a Portfolio Manager you will have a wide overview of a portfolio of properties, including:

• Arranging and conducting viewings at properties
• Familiarising yourself with and carefully adhering to landlords’ management requirements
• Organising & conducting management visits and flagging up repairs, reporting back to landlords and arranging any necessary remedial work
• Organising safety inspections in line with legislation and flagging up remedial works, reporting back to landlords and arranging any necessary remedial work
• Dealing promptly and courteously with all communications from landlords, tenants & contractors
• Responding quickly to urgent maintenance issues, as well as any potential dangers associated with a property
• Negotiating tenancy renewals
• Processing end of tenancy check outs, liaising with utility companies, letting offices and client accounts departments to ensure appropriate charges are made while keeping records up-to-date

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn from an experienced team. Key skills and experience required in this role include:

• Ideally have experience within a Property/Customer Service environment
• Excellent communication skills and a strong telephone manner
• Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Conscientious, organised, detailed oriented
• Previous experience using other software applications / CRM systems or databases would be an advantage
• General administrative skills (filing, scanning etc)
• Driving Licence Essential

Full training will be given to the successful Candidate; however, we would welcome those with previous experience in a Letting/Estate Agency environment
