Call Handler

The Company

My client is one of the country’s leading Social Housing Refurbishment Contractors. The company work in a wide range of market sectors and have an enviable reputation for their project delivery and standard of finish. Owing to the increased workload of a long term responsive maintenance contract within the Social Housing sector, they are urgently seeking to appoint a Call Handler to help with a back log of work.

The Role

Responsible for the administration process of planned maintenance and related works orders from the initial raising of the job through to job completion and closing
• Allocate and schedule work for sub-contractors and engineers; produce site packs and work tickets.
• Deal extensively with clients and the residents of clients by phone and email predominantly; and when carrying out this important role of customer liaison, maintain the highest standards of customer care.
• Work to the priorities, deadlines and performance targets set by management.
• Communicating effectively and building strong relationships to gain support and effectively achieve results with multiple departments to plan meetings.
• Reporting to the senior coordinator with clear project updates and providing excellent communication skills were essential and provide constant communication with tradesmen, tenants and other coordinators/planners.
• Book survey appointments & confirm with tenant.
• Monitor flow of work and review and organize works issued by supervisor.
• Log & Book snagging or additional repairs
• Day to day administration and works within individual area of planned work.
• Data input of worksheets/timesheets with correct information and passed to Supervisor for authorization.
• Ensure all procedures are undertaken in total compliance with Company.
• Maintain Health & Safety record.
• Monitor completions against volume target.

The Important Details

It is imperative that you have a background in call handling, and experience working in a social housing company before will be EXTREMELY beneficial.
