Salary: £42,000 – £72,000 per year
Our client, an innovative and highly successful boutique solutions provider, leads the field of enterprise-level strategic decision support for Defence sector clients. They have developed a unique, simulation-based product suite which addresses the leading challenges of the day in Defence and is configurable to new programmes and services.
This enables senior military management to explore alternative futures in the safety of a simulation and without risk to investment or operations, on the strength of which our client is being asked to deliver further ongoing solutions to resolve these high-level Capability problems.
Business modelling, particularly system dynamics expertise, is viewed as pivotal to this work, with significant increase in client demand prompting their current need to recruit an accomplished modelling professional. A naturally creative and innovative problem-solver, with proven analytical and conceptualising abilities, underpinned by academic excellence represented by at least a BSc Hons 2i in a numerate/scientific subject, you will need to offer at least two years proven achievement to date, including previous exposure to modelling and/or simulation project activities, preferably using the Powersim system dynamics suite of products.
In return, you can expect a challenging brief in an enlightened, stimulating and supportive environment, with future advancement being limited only by talent. Some international travel on a limited and manageable basis may be involved. Whilst previous Defence sector experience and SC clearance is by no means mandatory, it would clearly be an advantage.
