Business Development Manager – A brief overview

•Full time, permanent position for Business Development Manager working from home

•A general basis salary £33,600 with uncapped commission 

•Promoting apprenticeships to businesses across North West prodomitley Liverpool in Management, Business Admin, Manufacturing, Health & Social Care, Customer Services + many more

•Managing existing accounts and revisiting previous clients (both SME’s and large levy employers)

The company 

•Ofsted grade 2 private training provider

•Prime contract holder

•Specialising in apprenticeships training

This is a Monday – Friday BDM role with flexibility given where needed. No weekend working. All equipment provided with mileage costs covered for any travel. 

Business Development Manager main duties:

•Promoting part funded training programmes such as Work Based Apprenticeships by contacting small to medium businesses in pursuit of them up skilling their existing work force

•Identify and engage with employers to discuss the benefits of enrolling staff on to available training programmes

•Attend meetings with decision makers to discuss their training needs for existing staff 

•Maintaining records of employer contacts and keeping an up-to-date pipeline

•Achieving monthly sales targets and reporting on future sales forecasts regularly

•Act as an account manager for all new business secured, maintain employer relationships and maximise all opportunities for Apprenticeships and commercial training

•Building sustainable relationships with key decision makers

Personal skills and experience:

•Previous experience in a similar role within the Training & Education sector 

•Strong sales, marketing and networking skills

•A solid track record of achieving results in a target-driven sales environment

•Excellent telephone manner and IT Literate with Microsoft applications

•Hard working and self-motivated when working remotely
