Business Development and Marketing Manager
£48,000 Plus Car and Benefits
The client is a medium sized, specialist engineering and maintenance company, established, profitable and operating in a number of sectors such as food processing, chemical, oil and gas plants, and renewable energy sites. They have a wide variety of clients and a strong track record. The business is looking to target their activities and raise their profile and require a Business Developer, with Marketing experience, to strengthen the management team.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Developing a marketing strategy
- Research the market, targets and prospects
- Develop the CRM database
- Take ownership of the brand, develop PR and manage and develop existing advertising platforms.
- Take ownership of the Web Site.
- Manage and develop Lead Generation activities
- Attend exhibitions, Trade Shows and Seminars where appropriate, leveraging the opportunity to raise the profile of the business.
- Establish a performance and analysis reporting programme, to measure results
- Work with the Board to develop the medium and long term strategy of the business, tailoring marketing activities accordingly
- Assist with the tendering process, presentations and brand awareness
The successful candidate will have experience of B2B Marketing within the capital equipment and engineering sectors. You will be familiar with developing contacts and business, assisting the technical and existing business development staff, and be capable of measuring results. The
role will involve customer enquiry evaluation, product selection and tender preparation with an integral contribution to the subsequent sales cycle. Full training of the services and products will be given.
