Our client is the UKs leading provider of Property Guardians: a creative solution to securing vacant properties. Due to exceptional growth and investment they are looking for a B2B Sales professional to take advantage of the prestigious London market.

Your primary role would be to investigate and attract by canvassing, advertising, networking or other means of generating interest to increase the number of units being managed by the Company. You will be expected to plan persuasive sales approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients.

There is a considerable amount of warm opportunities and support (telemarketing and extensive PR campaign)

As a Business Development Manager you will work closely with the operations and support teams to ensure your set goals and targets are aligned with the rest of the business. A key function of your role will be to develop a continuous pipeline of new business coming into to the company.

This is a consultative solution sell based on trust and developing relationships but you must be able to close an opportunity and work to targets with a sense of urgency.

You will also be expected to market, promote and sell new products and services that may be launched whilst exploring new markets such as residential home owners,property developers, insolvency firms and Government departments, Housing Associations, Local Boroughs, Church Groups, health care providers, that may be vacating properties. You will spend most of your time (70%) meeting clients: handling objections, presenting tenders, meeting legal teams and site qualification

You will need a B2B sales background (property market knowledge not necessary): successful candidates have come from a variety of sales backgrounds in the following industries: Serviced Offices, Pay Day Loans, CIT security, Recruitment, Health + Safety/Compliance, Transport/Logistics, Publishing, Manned Guarding Security, Property Management, Software, Property Services, Lettings, Ordinance Survey + Training Software sales.

The ability to investigate a lead and use your persuasive skills to get past gatekeepers and arrange decision maker meetings is more important than industry experience.

You will also have a full clean drivers licence.
