Business Analyst

Salary: £53,856 – £55,852 per year

Our client, a professional membership organisation has a new opportunity for a Business Analyst to evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions for optimisation. You will work with project sponsors to understand project deliverables and impact on KPIs.

The client offers a 36.25hour week, working Monday -Friday (flexible working) and the choice to work partially from home.

Key accountabilities

1.To understand business needs\problems, challenge existing practices and approaches, propose business improvement opportunities and develop solutions to ensure that the organisation meet the needs of its staff, customers and stakeholders.

2.Facilitate the formulation of high-level business requirements which determine the scope and outcomes of a project.

3.Have a holistic view of the tools available within the organisation and work with the organisation to maximise the use and functionality wherever possible.

4.Understand how change will impact the business and support development of KPIs to measure improvement, impact and success.

5.To perform intensive research, data gathering, ROI, collation and analysis to support all identified opportunities to aid with the production of business case and project briefs.

6.Be a champion for change by persuading internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of change or new technology.

7.Involvement and contributor to project meetings to ensure joined up thinking across the organisation and that the deliverables of a project will meet requirements.

8.Support the monthly Programme Board process to ensure that all projects are fully scoped, resource needs and outcomes understood and documented.

The successful candidate will be qualified to Degree level (or equivalent), with a Business Analyst qualification, i.e. BCS International Diploma in Business analysis or IIBA. Experience of project management methodology or Six Sigma with a minimum of 3-year proven experience working in a Business Analyst role with project delivery experience.
