Business Systems Analyst – High Profile Company (Global) – Newport – £35,000 + Bonus + Excellent Bens

A global software organisation are looking to appoint an ambitious Business Systems Analyst. Reporting to the Application Support Manager, this individual will be responsible for investigation and management of problem and incident service desk calls raised by the organisations servicing operational business areas within the Business Support team.

My client is looking for:

*A highly personable and ambitious individual with a passion for technology.
*An individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to liase with internal teams or 3rd parties to investigate incidents or problems.

Responsibilities include:

*Mentor and support Level 1 Business Analysts.
*Advise users on appropriate actions.
*Perform stakeholder interviewing to understand current process and gather further information on the incident/problem.
*Work within defined service desk and client SLA’s.

Knowledge and experience:

*Has received training in Business Analysis (preferably accredited with BCS/ISEB or equivalent qualification).
*Proficient with SQL.
*ITIL.
*Service desk.
*IT systems support (problem solving).
*Incident management.
*Can interpret and construct complex data models.
*Understands the principles of system and user acceptance testing and the link to requirements documentation.
*Systems analysis.
*Risk identification and management.

Desirable:

*Degree or equivalent level qualification.
*ITIL foundation certificate.
*Experience of working within Financial Services Industry.
*Understanding of one or more project methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall.
