WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for people that are either:
- Competent Boat Builders
- Interested in becoming a Boat Builder and have any of the following skill sets:
- Boat Building
- Carpentry
- Joinery
- Cabinet Making
- Kitchen Fitting
- Shop Fitting
ABOUT THE POSITION
Salary: £26,000 – £35,100 per year, depending on experience and paid weekly
Hours: 42.5 hours a weeks (7.00am – 17:30 pm Monday to Thursday)
Overtime available at flat rate up to 45 hours, time and a quarter thereafter
Benefits: £1000 tool allowance bonus after 2 years’ service.
The role will be varied and will depend on the applicant’s expertise, however, will involve the building, fit-out and repair of high-quality boats, motor launches, yachts and tenders, including:
- Scribing and fitting Joinery parts
- Fitting teak decks
- Fitting external Stainless-steel hardware
- Installation of windows, doors and furnishings
- Using hand and machine tools
- Fitting of GRP parts
- And all other aspects of Boat Assembly
