Big Data Management

Salary: £48,000 – £84,000 per year

Responsibilities:

* Working within our data engineering practice, a team whose expertise enables clients to gain insight from their data.

* An Informatica Data Engineering (formerly BDM – big data management) specialist, comfortable advising customers in best practice use of the platform and the wider informatica suite of products.

* Experienced in using other Informatica products (such as IICS, EDC, IDQ, MDM)

* Direct involvement in the Data management lifecycle, from producing data integration mapping specifications, design and validation through to development and production deployments.

* Working directly with clients to understand their business problems and using your expertise to transform their data in order to do this.

* Adept at problem solving, able to identify the most appropriate way for the business problem to be addressed. Capable of presenting findings back to senior stakeholders within the client organisation.

* Promote the adoption and integration of data engineering into the client organisation. Helping to drive innovation both internally and with clients.

* Define and participate in Proof of Concepts for the client and internally provided use cases. Helping to assess and propose data-focused solutions based on business requirements.
