Management Accountant

Salary: £27.6 per hour

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a market leading international engineering business to recruit a Lead Management Accountant for their site in Hesslewood, East Yorkshire.

Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, this role will suit a Practice trained qualified Accountant who is looking for a role that not only utilises their technical accounting skills, but also gives you commercial exposure to the wider business. You will be a key contact for the commercial and operational teams within the EMEA region, providing accounting and financial analysis support to them.

Key Responsibilities:

– Implementing new accounting standards
– Reviewing internal controls and undertaking internal audits at European sites (normally a couple of audit a years, so not too much travel)
– Providing commercial support to the region; this could including providing financial analysis for opening new offices or appraising proposed Capex projects
– Providing monthly analysis of sales and margin analysis for each site
– Presenting financials to local management team
– Consolidating the monthly management accounts
– Ad-hoc project work e.g. SAP upgrade
